Oscar A. Kincaid Home of History Dedicated

Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen at the dedication

On September 12, 2013, completion of the restoration of the Oscar A. Kincaid Home of History was celebrated with a gala Dedication Ceremony.

The festivities were led by Marilyn Terhune, President of the Historical Society, who stated in dedicating the homestead: “I dedicate this home in memory of its last resident, and leader of many organizations – both political and civic – Oscar A. Kincaid, who among other things was mayor of Boonton Township. Let this restored homestead stand as a living testament of the man who wanted to see this come to fruition and I am happy and honored to say, on this Dedication Day, that it will stand for years to come in service to Boonton Township and the surrounding region.”
